Jackson, Mississippi (Millsaps College)

We are again offering an intense four day Team Camp this summer. This session will focus on individual and group development for teams. The camp is designed to provide teams with intense, advanced training and an opportunity to improve individual and team concepts in a challenging and exciting environment. The format of the camp has been carefully planned to provide teams with an atmosphere that will guide them to new levels of performance. Nineteen teams attended in 2010. This year’s session will be limited to only twelve residential teams in order to preserve a more personal learning environment.

Coach Harbin has brought together a staff of energetic and enthusiastic college coaches along with professional and college players eager to provide high level training for the advanced player. Each team will be coached by a college or professional coach and assisted by a collegiate player. The innovative and challenging methods that have proven successful for these coaches and players will be used to help you reach your teams’ goals.

Team coaches are encouraged to attend with their team and participate in the camp. Each team will be provided one free space (housing and meals) at camp for their coach to attend. In addition to the on field training, we have designed several classroom sessions specifically for the team coaches in attendance. Topics will include Nutrition for Female Athletes, Strength Training and Soccer Conditioning. These sessions will be presented by experts in those fields. We recommend each team have a minimum of 15 players. Please send all applications together.
